Pragnya Montessori School provides an integrated, inclusive, highly personalized educational environment for children from 18 months to 16 years old. It is affiliated to the IGCSE curriculum offered by Cambridge Assessment International Education.

Our mission is to aid the child's development into a complete adult human being, comfortable with himself, with his society and with humanity as a whole. For this we provide a special environment where children are able to continue the natural process of their growth and development.

Our school provides a challenging, individualized educational experience founded in a Montessori curriculum with the objective of developing independent thinking students of knowledge, courage, personal integrity and compassion

Programs

Primary

The Montessori Primary Program focuses on the growth of children between 2.5 years and 6 years of age in a specially prepared mixed-age Montessori Environment.

Elementary

The Montessori Elementary Program is designed to unlock the mysteries of the universe for the elementary child. It works on the developmental needs of children between 6 and 12 years of age.

The Montessori Erdkinder Program rekindles the spirit of the adolescent and assists the young adult in transforming into global citizens. The IGCSE curriculum is integrated as a part of the Erdkinder Program

The Montessori Method

Mixed Age Classrooms

This mixed age classrooms encourage younger children to learn from older ones, and encourages the older children to be role models for their younger counterparts.

Prepared Environment

Dr. Montessori designed classrooms with particular concrete materials that respond to these sensitive periods by sparking the child's interests and enabling them to learn effortlessly.

The Montessori Directress

The Directress contribute by designing well-thought-out learning opportunities that encourage children to learn, and then guide and support children as they participate in those learning exercises.

Freedom in learning

In a Montessori classroom, children learn how to be self-directed as they choose the activities that most appeal to them and they are free to explore these activities at their own pace.

I like Pragnya Montessori because its teaching method is different from others. I like the way the teachers taking care of children. I found that the children are enjoying their work including my daughter and I am happy about it. The important thing what I observed is that the children are doing their work happily with their own interest without any force from others.

About my daughter: Whatever she learns at school, she explains to us at home acting like a teacher. All credit goes to Pragnya Montessori House of Children and I wish them all the best.

This is a wonderful school based on Dr. Maria Montessori principles of education. Children learn social skills, academics through live presentations. If you want your kids learn and grow up to complete human beings, this is the place. If you are running behind ranks, pressure cooker education system, please look elsewhere. Please do visit the school in Pragathi Nagar to learn more. One more thing. This could be the only school in South India offering complete Monteasori education till 15-16 years age.

Pragnya is one of the best Schools I ever visited, teaching methodology is unique and children love to go to school, When they love something, that's the place they learn everything. Overall environment, teachers, teaching methodology, child care etc.. is reliable and trustworthy. Its like giving a child, stress free environment and a beautiful youth to grow in such a place. Montessori Method of teaching is very interesting. Every child is enjoying their work. I really I like this method very much and I enjoyed the method of doing their activities. The way the teacher is guiding each and every child is very good and interesting. All the children are doing their work freely and independently. They are feeling the Montessori environment just like their home environment. The teaching methodology what I observed here is totally different. Every child is logical in their work.

About my daughter: She is very keen towards her work. She is keeping back the equipment in the same place where from she has taken. Even at home also she keeps the things back in its original place. She is very disciplined at home. She can tell all her friends names. I am very glad for joining my child in Pragnya Montessori House of Children.
